Park Blvd West: located on the corners of Island and 11th in the Ballpark District.  It is a mid-rise complex of steel frame/wood construction and was completed by Western Pacific Housing in late 2004.  Park Blvd. West is located right along the 12th Avenue Park-to-Bay Link and a couple blocks removed from Petco Park.  The complex features both street and courtyard facing units. The monthly HOA's are moderate relative to other downtown properties.  Highlights include: the complex is interesting, as it has traditional apartment style condos mixed in with unique ground floor and top floor loft units, unique floor plans, spiral staircases, high ceilings, and rooftop terraces.  Because it is a steel framed/wood building, the buyer needs to pay close attention to common walls (as noise attenuation issues could effect the unit value).  Park Blvd West is still a part of the transitioning neighborhood with lots of surrounding construction, so the buyer needs to be patient while realizing there is an upside potential for price appreciation.
