Free Walking Tours Along the Embarcadero in Downtown San Diego!

Downtown San Diego Condo and Downtown San Diego Loft home owners in The Grande, Electra and Treo in the Columbia District are only a short walk away from the waterfront…so bring your family and take the opportunity to learn about the San Diego History while taking a walk along the Embarcadero in Downtown San Diego.

The Maritime Museum is now offering free guided historical walking tours. The tour last about 45 min to an hours and are offered twice a day on weekends at 11am and 1pm.

The tour will teach you about the tideland’s greatest gems, including Seaport Village, the USS Midway Museum, the Port of San Diego’s Urban Trees progran and the collection of the U.S. military heritage art at Tuna Harbor Park which called “The Greatest Generation Walk”.

Port of San Diego is the sponsor of the Historic Walking Tours and they cover about one mile of the San Diego Bay. If you would like to join go to the USS San Diego Memorial at the foot of G Street and Harbor Drive, just South of the USS Midway Museum where the tour starts.

The tours are first come, first served. For more information call the Maritime Museum at 619-234-9153 or visit www.sdmaritime.org. ')}
