Want to Play the Credit Scoring Game?

Want to Play the Credit Scoring Game?

Do you want to be able to control and raise your FICO score so you can better qualify for your purchase of a Downtown San Diego Condo or Loft?

FICO scoring is like a game and the consumer controls 1/3 of that game. 30% of the credit score is determined by the total amount of revolving credit such as credit cards and department store cards that the consumer has.

For example; if you have a credit card with a $5,000 limit and you owe $4,800 against it, your credit score will go down. If you only owned $1,500 against the $5,000 limit your credit score will increase dramatically.

You will be amazed on how the credit score will change up or down with just controlling the amount that you charge against your credit card. Remember you are the one who controls that number.

Review more tips for improving your FICO credit score and contact 92101 Urban Living today to begin locating your new home in Downtown San Diego.

This Downtown San Diego Condo in M2i located in the East Village/Ballpark District is a contemporary and elegant West facing 2 bed/2 bath unit and is listed at $549,900.

From the entrance of #608, you are struck by both the contemporary and simplistic design style of a Downtown San Diego Loft. One of the best features of this urban home are the “built out” two bedrooms. Only in M2i can you accomplish the best of both worlds: design and style elements of a loft, with the floor plan of a fully functional two bedroom floor plan lay out. Step out on to the private patio space with Southern exposure, feel the energy of the East Village/Ballpark Corridor. Your 2 garage spaces are street level, not subterranean, only 3 spots from elevator. Your private storage unit is steps away from your car.

This Downtown San Diego home in M2i located in the East Village/Ballpark District is a contemporary and elegant South facing 2 bed/2 bath unit. Priceless amenities with urban living are: your location from your car to the elevator, the luxury of having your own large private storage unit. With unit #608 you have both. The parking spaces for this unit are 3 spots from the main elevator, and the private large storage unit is also just steps away. The best aspect of purchasing a Downtown loft is the personalization in design that comes when creating your “urban” space. Unit #608 will lend itself to this design personalization and upgrading nicely, as you have a totally “clean” canvas to work with. In a Downtown loft, a usable and functional outside area adds so much in terms of living space and overall enjoyment of the urban home. To the East, the Jefferson Law School and San Diego mountains in the distance. To the West is the short four block path to the Gaslamp District with beautiful sunset views over Point Loma. One of the best features of M2i is location. In your front yard, you have the Ballpark, and the evolving 10th and J Street business corridors. In your backyard, the new San Diego Public Library is being built. New and exciting restaurants surrounds you giving you countless options for a relaxing afternoon or an exciting evening. Come and enjoy the vibrant lifestyle of the East Village/Ballpark neighborhood. Unit #608 is at the center of it all.

M2i is an upscale, urban, and contemporary mid-rise loft complex that was completed in late 2005 by Citymark Development, the complex features 230 total units. M2i offers some of the most unique architecture and quality loft units that Downtown has to offer. M2i amenities: secured underground parking, a rooftop entertainment deck with a fireplace and two BBQ’s, dramatic lobbies and entrances designed by Martinez and Cutri, and a fully equipped exercise facility. M2i building is concrete construction, and takes up a whole city block comprised of two buildings surrounding a landscaped interior courtyard: 1050 Island Ave, and 527 10th Ave.

M2i features contemporary modern loft units ranging in size of 600 plus square feet for a studio loft, all the way to 1900 plus square feet for a penthouse loft. There are both courtyard facing units and street facing units. Some of the floor plans have had the bedroom areas “built out” while some of the floor plans retain the open “warehouse” style. Features of the loft units include: deluxe stainless appliances, granite counter-tops, unique loft floor plans with 11 foot ceilings, low emission glass with dual glazing for sound insulation and sun protection, Cat 5 data wiring, RG6 Quad Shield cabling for high-speed internet, energy efficient air conditioning and forced air heating, and floor-to-ceiling windows. A fantastic building.

Just a short stroll away is the water front, the Marina District, Seaport Village and the vibrant Gaslamp District with restaurants, shopping and entertainment.

Proposed Downtown San Diego Waterfront Revamp Gets Rejected

Proposed Downtown San Diego Waterfront Revamp Gets Rejected!
The State Coastal Commission rejected the San Diego Port’s proposal of a Downtown San Diego revamp on Wednesday April 14th, 2010. They are saying that the planned revisions in the project would cheat the public of open space.

The proposed contruction contained a long planned $228 million overhaoul of San Diego’s Downtown water front along the Embarcadero and the San Diego Bay.

The vote was 5 to 5, failing to give the port the majority needed to move ahead with the first phase. A commission staffer said the vote was final. Port officials have said the rejection of the project would force them to scrap the first phase entirely due to uncertainty over funding. Critics said the project would have made the waterfront more welcoming to the cruise ship industry than to San Diegans.

They disliked the ports decision to remove a large, oval park from the initial phase. Commissioner Sara Wan of Malibu agreed, saying it failed to meet open space requirements laid out in the ports plan for the North Embarcadero. Its not the shape of the park thats the issue, she said. Its the size and location.
