Are there any trends in Real Estate sales for Downtown San Diego Real Estate?

Was March of 2009 the bottom for Downtown San Diego Real Estate sales?

This graph shows the total sales of Builder/Developer, Private Party Resales, Bank Owned and Short Sales during March 2009 to February 2010. The graph indicates that most Downtown San Diego Condos and Downtown San Diego Lofts are clearly sold during spring and fall. We can always ask ourselves why this is? A thought could be that families’ want to purchase in the spring time after the tax season or invest in a second home. For the fall situation a few reasons could be that home owners wants to get settled before the holidays or be settled in time for their kids going to school or college such as at San Diego City College, Tomas Jefferson School of Law or San Diego High School.
