Big Plans for the Santa Fe Depot Property in Downtown San DiegoThe parking lot east of the condo tower Bayside and north of the condo tower Sapphire in the Columbia District in Downtown San Diego is now used as a parking lot. For the last 29 years, Bosa Development has had big plans for this lot.

Already back in 1983 an agreement was approved for two condo towers as well as a high-rise office building down in the southeast corner of Pacific Highway and Broadway. The agreement was renewed for 20 years in 1992. Now, the project is about to move forward as the plans has been Ok’d.

There will be two Downtown San Diego Condo towers containing of 285 homes in 36 stories at the corner of Kettner Boulevard and Ash Street. There will also be an office building down by Pacific Highway and Broadway containing of 41 stories with 232 office suites. They say that construction is to be completed in 2015.
