Total sales of Downtown San Diego Condos and Downtown San Diego Lofts show a small decrease in the year of 2011 with total sales of 1029 units compared to the year of 2010 with total sales of 1120 units.
As we have mentioned before…Downtown San Diego has had a market that has been ruled by the developer as many complexes especially in the East Village/Ballpark District got completed pretty much at the same time. As the developer sales are running out in complexes such as The Mark, Park Terrace, The Legend, Atria, Sapphire and Bayside…resales are coming back strong. A sign to verify this is the 403 resales sold in 2011 compared to 279 resales sold in 2010.
