It’s hard to believe that we are already approaching the end of 2012 and heading towards the new year of 2013. The Downtown San Diego Real Estate market has during the year of 2012 changed from former years due to the low amount of homes for sale on the market. As real estate professionals, we were spoiled with all the developer sales to show clients during the last years over at The Mark, The Legend, Park Terrace, Bayside, Breeza and Smart Corner to mention a few. There are still a few developer sales available in Smart Corner, Breeza and Bayside but no too many.
We went from the developer wars to a pure resale market in Downtown San Diego and this is something we have not seen here before. Many may think that Downtown will offer new condo constructions with more developer sales coming up but as of now, no new Downtown San Diego Condo construction are on the books until possibly 2-3 years from now. We have recently seen an increase in home prices due to the low home inventory as well as a slight increase of homes for sale. We hope that the New Year of 2013 will allow for more options out there for our home buyers and as we are geeks for the analytic…stay tuned for more stats about the real estate market coming up.
