Bootlegger is one of Downtown San Diego’s newest bars, located at 8th and Market in the East Village/Ballpark District. From the creative menu to the overall ambiance that the new bar/restaurant puts out is sure to satisfy anybody looking to cut loose and hangout with friends.
Several young industry workers from many different bars in the San Diego area have come together, teamed up and are responsible for the opening of this new sure to be hot spot. With their experience, ideas, and local following I would bet that Bootlegger will end up being the new East Village local hangout.
I’m sure the Downtown San Diego Condo and Loft home owners are going to be excited because they are finally getting paid back at Bootlegger for having to put up with the noisy sirens on Market Street. Every time the sirens are heard on Market Street they serve shots of Fireball for only $4! Just one of the new ideas from this fun and creative staff, and I’m sure that their are going to be plenty of more ideas like that to come. Everyone that I have talked to so far that has been there has had nothing but great things to say about Bootlegger and all said that they will be back, so stop in for lunch or dinner sometime and I promise you wont be let down… I recommend the Pop Rock Shrimp!
