For what seems like years now, the North Embarcadero has been experiencing many new developments and improvements. This project is great for San Diego, and provides a much needed “facelift” to the Columbia District. Filled with luxury highrises like The Grande Towers, Bayside, and Electra, the North Embarcadero will provide fantastic infrastructure to Columbia District Residents as well as tourists alike.
Recently, the Port of San Diego has announced it’s Port Walk Program as part of the newly revitalized North Embarcadero project and Broadway Landing. The walkway at Broadway Landing…”just in front of the Broadway Pier” is made up of specially formulated “pavers”, as well as a limited number of tables and benches. Members of the community (both private and commercial) can sponsor these items and have their name, business name or organization engraved on the item. This is a great way to consider leaving your legacy on the San Diego Bay front for years to come. Each purchase will go towards raising money for future developments and improvements on the North Embarcadero.
