Games and Prizes
Enjoy a stroll through downtown San Diego’s Quartyard next week as it hosts its first annual Holiday Market. The festivities kick off on Thursday, December 10th, with a Cornhole + Ugly Sweater Competition presented by Quartyard and Pizza Port. One canned food item is needed for the entry fee and the competition begins at 6pm. Prizes will be awarded for the ugliest sweater as well as to the Cornhole champions.
The Market
The holiday excitement continues through Friday the 11th with a variety of features including a special visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus beginning at 5pm on Thursday, as well as a photo opportunity with Santa between 5 and 8pm. A photo booth will also be on location courtesy of San Diego Restaurant Supply. In addition, the first annual East Village community holiday tree lighting ceremony will take place at 6:30pm on Thursday.
Entertainment and Goodies
Live music featuring The Eagle and Child will follow the tree lighting with D.J. Greyboy featured on Friday. In addition to a variety of local food trucks being on site, the usual vendors will also be available Thursday and Friday, as well as several extra holiday vendors. Numerous items will be available for purchase including crafts, jewelry, candles, hot sauce, and more!
Whether you are looking to shop, sample some exotic meats, warm up with a cup of coffee, enjoy a holiday cocktail, or simply let the dogs run at the dog park, the Quartyard has little bit for everyone. Tourists as well as locals are invited to come out and join in the festivities at Quartyard’s Holiday Market located in downtown San Diego.
