Breakfast at the Park

Nothing says summer in downtown San Diego’s East Village like a Sunday day game at Petco Park. But, did you know that you can make that day even better with Breakfast at the Park? I did not. This is news to me but what good news it is.

Before every Sunday home game, breakfast is served at Petco with tables set up at the Park at the Park or the warning track near home plate. Often times, players and coaches come out to greet the fans-how exciting for true fans and kids! This breakfast requires no reservations (unless you are a season ticket holder) and is based on a first come first served basis. You must hold a ticket to the game to be admitted to the breakfast and gates open at 10:30am (10am for season ticket holders).

Wonder what that breakfast menu is all about? Sounds pretty good to me with menu items like chorizo egg and cheese burritos, breakfast hash and homemade cinnamon rolls…yum. If you want more menu info as well as a schedule of the Padres Sunday home games, here it is.

Enjoy the game…and breakfast!
