As an owner of a downtown San Diego loft, in the heart of the East Village, it has been so exciting to see the scaffolding disappear and a gorgeous, new law school emerge one block from my doorstep. After countless mornings of walking my dog by construction crews, chain link fences, and oversized trucks this law school is a sight to see. Bravo to the builders, architects, and contractors-this is a beautiful building and it adds an elegance to our downtown San Diego neighborhood.
With a 178,000 square foot campus, 1155 Island Ave. will now be bustling with law students. This 8 story campus includes 2 outdoor terraces, a 50s style student diner, meeting rooms, a cafe and a law clinic (open to the public sometime this spring).
