Downtown San Diego Condos Reviewed: Broker Caravan 1/9

By LeslieLunde in Caravan Highlights|Downtown San Diego Real Estate|January 2014 with 0 Comments

Today was a busy Brokers open this morning.  After having two weeks off because of the holidays, all of the Downtown San Diego Real Estate agents were excited to be back in the swing of things. The actual Caravan meeting ran so full it seemed there were more people standing than those that had seats. With a whopping 12 Downtown San Diego Condos being held open for brokers, it was just not possible to see them all. Here are some of the highlights from the Downtown Condos that I was able to make it to this morning.  Click here to get more property details on these, and all other Downtown San Diego condos currently on the market.

Pinnacle Condo Unit #1701 Pinnacle Condo

My favorite of the day was in the prestigious Marina District. Sweeping panoramic city and water views are enjoyed from almost every room, thru multiples of floor to ceiling windows, which made the entire length of the condo feel like it were a huge, single glass wall. It was spectacular! Very spacious with a great flow between rooms. Oh the dinner parties you could have living here, the kitchen, with large island bar, is designed with plenty of space for cooking and entertaining.

Horizons Condo Unit #1501  Horizons Condo Unit 1501

Marina District condo, city views, highly desirable area just a short stroll to Downtown restaurants and hot spots, full service building amenities, and more. Perfect for someone who enjoys a Downtown lifestyle. There’s even a space that can be used as a home office inside the condo or whatever you choose. Built in cabinetry makes it feel smaller but also great to stash and organize belongings.

Harbor Club Condo Unit #2701  Harbor Club Condo

Amenities, and views. Take advantage of what the building and condo have to offer and you’ll have no need to leave home if you don’t want to. This Marina District condo boasts Coronado Bridge, bay, Downtown, and Petco Park views. Nice outdoor living space. Gleaming hardwood floors throughout but were a little too much red for me with the cherry flooring and red paint together, but paint can be changed and throw rugs added if choose to. Feels spacious except for the kitchen which feels a little closed off from the rest of the condo and somewhat more like a service bar.

Aria Condo Unit #701  Aria Condo

Contemporary Cortez Hill condo in a luxury high rise building. Downtown living on the inside with a neighborhood feel on the outside. Open floor plan enjoys some city views and a private patio. Resort like amenities in building. Option to add a 3rd parking space.

Nexus Condo Unit #609  Living Room of Nexus Condo Unit 609

Located in East Village area of Downtown San Diego. Walking distance to ballpark, shops, restaurant, night life, etc… Perfect condo for someone always on the go or who does not need much space. It is competitively priced for the East Village location and square footage.  The unit is staged and shows well.  If there was any critique that I could make is that unfortunately, I felt the photos looked nicer and made the condo appear larger than it does in person. Listed as a 1 bedroom but feels like a studio. Ceiling is at different heights which in some areas makes the home feel smaller. But to some, a smaller living space feels more comfortable so just depends what makes you feel good.

Samuel Fox Lofts #431   Sammuel Fox Loft Building

Large loft style condo located in a historical building Downtown at Broadway & 6th. Open floor plan with a decent sized kitchen. The actual unit doesn’t offer a patio but the building has a community rooftop area with BBQ’s so you at least have some outdoor accessibility without leaving the building. The loft felt very masculine inside with the carved stone windows and concrete flooring.
