By Mike in Urban Lifestyle with 0 Comments

How do you plan to celebrate the holidays? While San Diego may not have snow, you can still get in the holiday spirit with delicious craft cocktails found throughout Downtown. Here are a few of the most delicious seasonal cocktails you can find in some of the city’s best bars and restaurants.

Jingle-tini

Find it at the Manchester Grand Hyatt
The Jingle-tini has been a holiday tradition at the Hyatt in Downtown San Diego for years. The drink is made with Absolut vanilla vodka, peppermint schnapps, and Baileys Irish Cream and finished with heavy cream and crushed candy canes. The drink is served at the Top of the Hyatt restaurant, located in the region’s tallest waterfront hotel, which means you can enjoy one of the city’s best panoramic views while you get in the spirit.

Hipster Hatchet

Find it at Barleymash
Barleymash is a high-energy bar and restaurant located in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter that’s popular with tourists and locals alike. The restaurant fosters a sense of closeness with three massive communal tables to spark conversation over drinks. Their classic holiday drink? The Hipster Hatchet, which is made from Old Forrester bourbon, lemon, black walnut bitters, and pumpkin allspice cordial that’s made in-house.

Cider Low Ball

Find it at Water Grill
The Water Grill is new to Downtown and has a sister location in Los Angeles. While the Downtown San Diego location is similar to the Water Grill in L.A., the San Diego location features custom artwork, a wall of oyster shells, and an illuminated keg room feeding 40 beer taps. The Cider Low Ball is the perfect way to enjoy the season and fight off the (slight) chill at night. This special drink is made with straight bourbon, unfiltered apple cider, vanilla, lemon, and syrup with cinnamon and nutmeg.
