I have a confession to make…I have a bit of a food problem. In fact, it’s not a stretch to actually say that I have an inner fat kid trapped inside of me. That is why when I heard the news of the new opening of a Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins store opening up in Downtown San Diego, I might have shed a little tear of joy.
The new Dunkin’ Donuts/Baskin-Robbins store is located down in the Marina District at 601 Pacific Hwy, underneath the Embassy Suites. Apparently, I am not the only one that jumped for joy at the news. As seen in the CBS video below, the wait for donuts in the new store can be up to over an hour each morning.

As of now, this is only the second Dunkin’ Donuts location in San Diego. The other location is located up in Oceanside at Camp Pendleton, and you must be a member of the military to partake.
This new store opening is just another bit of good news for residents of the Marina District Condos. Just a few months ago, the Marina district was a buzz with the new opening of the Headquarters center, home to boutique clothing shops, cafes, and restaurants.
