Gaslamp Condo Recap for 2013

By Mike in Downtown San Diego Real Estate with 0 Comments

Values of a Gaslamp Condo went up in 2013

One of the most recognized and unique neighborhoods in Downtown San Diego is The Gaslamp. Centrally located just in between the Marina and East Village, we like to say that the Gaslamp is in the middle of it all.    The center of night life, shopping, and dining in San Diego…the Gaslamp has a little something for every interest right outside your door.   On paper, last year was a great year for condo sales in Gaslamp. In 2012 the average value for a Gaslamp Condo was $267,953. By the end of 2013 the average sales price value had grown to an impressive $347,751. This was an increase of over $30%, and aside from the East Village increase of 37% in 2012, Gaslamp condo sales represents some of the highest improvements for values in Downtown Real Estate. The total number of Gaslamp Condos sold in 2013 was 33 compared to the similar 34 condos sold in 2012. The graph below represents a summary of the total sales broken down by Cortex Hill complexes. We represent: total sales in the building, the average sales price, and the average Price per square foot.
