Often considered “The Face” of San Diego…the waterfront area around Little Italy and the Columbia District is something for the entire city/county of to be proud of.
New Park Features:
-Ability to accommodate concerts, festivals, and private parties/events

-7 Fountain Basins, 31 Water Jets, and a series of bridges to elevate above water features
-8 Acres of Water front landscaped park space
-250 new parking spaces for daily visitors to the area

This Saturday there will be a ribbon cutting ceremony that will feature: Kids Arts and Culture Zone, a Farmers Market, Beer and Wine garden for adults, food trucks, live music, a classic car show, and more. On Saturday, May 10, 2014, the County Board of Supervisors invites you to be a part of history by joining us to celebrate the grand opening of the region’s largest and free waterfront park in San Diego County. This all day celebration will offer various activities and performances to keep the entire family busy throughout the day!
