The best part of owning a Downtown San Diego Loft or Condo is the lifestyle that it represents. Walking distance to work, shopping, and entertainment are the most important aspects of an urban lifestyle. We love talking about new plans for Downtown San Diego, and how they will improve the already great lifestyle we lead. However…even better than that is to report the Grande opening of a project that has been in the planning and construction phase for so long.
Praised as one of the highlights of the first phase of the North Embarcadero Visionary Plan…the new waterfront park next to the county administration building, is announcing it’s grande opening this weekend: Saturday May 10th. The front page of the Downtown News this month, has a Headline that reads “A New Civic Treasure”. Often considered “The Face” of San Diego…the waterfront area around Little Italy and the Columbia District is something for the entire city/county of to be proud of.
New Park Features:
-Ability to accommodate concerts, festivals, and private parties/events
-Modern Playground with family picnic areas
-7 Fountain Basins, 31 Water Jets, and a series of bridges to elevate above water features
-8 Acres of Water front landscaped park space
-250 new parking spaces for daily visitors to the area
