Every year we look forward to the iconic San Diego Film Festival. From mind-blowing movie premiers to rubbing elbows with the big dogs, it’s one of the few times a year our Downtown San Diego real estate agents are willing to put down the phone for a short while and simply enjoy themselves.

Where: Festival screenings will take place at the Reading Cinemas Gaslamp 15 in the Gaslamp Downtown San Diego and at the ArcLight Theater in La Jolla. Box office times are available on the event website FAQ, and a free shuttle runs to and from downtown and stops at both venues every 30 minutes.
The schedule for the San Diego Film Festival just went live on September 1st, and it’s one movie aficionados will love. Some standouts include “Diablo”, starring Danny Glover, Camilla Belle, and Scott Eastwood; “Go With Me”, starring Ray Liotta, Anthony Hopkins, and Julia Stiles; and the documentary “He Named Me Malala”. Other screenings people are talking about include “I Smile Back,” “India’s Daughter,” “Landfill Harmonic,” and “Ashby”.
Guests can also enjoy panel discussions, narrative and short films, and an opening night after party.
When you’re ready to plan your five-day film experience, there are two options. You can buy a ticket for individual film screenings if you just want to see one or two favorites, or you can buy a pass (Day, Festival, or VIP) to get access to more San Diego Film Festival events. With a pass, you can also reserve seats at the events you’re most looking forward to.
