Columbia DistrictThe Columbia District in Downtown San Diego is known as the “Face of San Diego” as this is the neighborhood that is mostly seen on postcards with all the luxury high-rises and Downtown San Diego Luxury Penthouses and Condos lining up along Pacific Highway.

This neighborhood encompasses the border to Little Italy, A Street and Broadway. You will mostly find commercial developments but also residential buildings along the waterfront. Some of the city’s landmarks are; the Cruise Ship Terminals, the Embarcadero Promenade, the Historic Santa Fe Train Station and the Museum of Modern Art. Some of the Downtown San Diego Condo complexes in this neighborhood is Bayside, Electra, Sapphire and The Grande at Santa Fe towers. The development project that is currently in process is the North Embarcadero Visionary Plan Phase 1 and next up will most likely be the Lane Field Development. The North Embarcadero Visionary Plan Phase 1 will include restaurants, local boutique shopping as well as a 100 feet wide pedestrian promenade and will become a landmark with lots of green space for both residents and visitors. The future for the Columbia District will consist of new luxury hotels, waterfront expansion, huge residential skyline towers as well as new hotels.

Investors are interested in the Columbia neighborhood due to the possibility of luxury high-rise living as you will find the tallest and the most luxury residential towers here. As infrastructure matures the future vision of the neighborhood is also a factor that many are drawn to the Columbia District. ')}
