A Waterfront Festival on San Diego Bay

More than 20 tall ships and other vessels from around the world will visit the North Embarcadero from September 2nd to the 6th for the Port of San Diego Festival of Sail, hosted by the Maritime Museum of San Diego. It starts with cannon fire salute and will follow with a parade of tall ships on San Diego Bay at 11am on September 2nd where they will cruise and pass by Harbor Island, Shelter Island, Seaport Village and the Coronado Bridge ending up at the Maritime Museum’s docks.

You can enjoy touring the ships, entertainment at the Festival of Sail’s main stage, food and drinks from dozens of restaurants booths, a family activity area, petting zoo and shopping for one of a kind item among more than 100 festival vendors.

Ships at the festival will include the tall ship of California, the Californian, a replica of the original America’s Cup racing yacht America, the Gaff topsail schooner Bill of Rights, the Brigantine from Antiqua, the Keisei and many more.
