Who doesn’t like Downtown San Diego…a small little secret place to go on your vacation and so much to do. The US News & World Report is trumpeting San Diegos appeal in its latest ranking of best vacation spots. Amongst the top 21 vacation destinations, only San Francisco and Washington, DC topped San Diego, so we are on third place. In all 49 U.S. and 35 European destinations were analyzed and winnowed down on the basis of recommendations from travel writers and the users of the U.S. News Travel website. San Diego was chosen as the most well-rounded destination on the list because of its diversity of attractions from the beaches, zoo and theme parks to dining, sports and night-life venues in the Gaslamp District etc.
