Have you guys heard about the annual Dog Days of Summer? This is a dog-centric event where your little pooch can compete, play with friends, have their pictures taken while you enjoy live music, food and overall just having a great time.
This years event is held in the East Village/Ballpark District in Downtown San Diego where Petco Park and the San Diego Padres will attempt to set a Guinness World Record for the most dogs at a professional sporting event at the annual Dog Days of Summer on July 27th, 2011. Up to 750 dogs attend as the Padres take on the Arizona Diamondbacks. A pre-game tail gate party and an on-field pet parade and costume contest will take place before the game.
Downtown San Diego is truly a pet friendly community where almost every Downtown San Diego Condo or Loft home owner are proud mamas or papas of a pet. Should you be one of the few who is not, don’t worry, dog owner or not…you will still have a blast!
