As a resident of downtown San Diego, you are exposed to a lot of fascinating stuff and have opportunities to experience a lot of fascinating stuff. The Madhatter’s Tea and Alice in Wonderland ballet is no exception.
The San Diego Ballet’s performance of Alice in Wonderland & Mixed Repertoire is a fusion of ballet and hip hop (plus a few other splashes of dance thrown in). How fascinating is that concept?! Ballet and hip hop? Very cool. On October 16th at noon, the Westgate Hotel, on Broadway and 2nd, will be hosting the Madhatter’s Tea prior to the 2:30 performance of Alice in Wonderland & Mixed Repertoire.
This tea will be all about photo opps with Alice and friends, wearing hats/costumes/rabbit ears and of course, drinking tea. It’s an opportunity to get in the mood for a spectacular show and dive into Alice’s magical Wonderland. After the tea, you’ll head over to the Lyceum Theater in the Gaslamp for the performance.
