For many Downtown San Diego Condo and Downtown San Diego Loft home owners, the San Diego Parade of Lights is a can’t miss Holiday Tradition here in Downtown San Diego. The parade, which takes place on the San Diego Bay, features over 80 boats lavishly decorated to a new theme each year. The parade is taking place on Sunday, December 16th, and this year’s theme is “Our 41st Anniversary, USS Santa Claus”.
You may even decorate your own boat and earn a chance at the Grand Prize package worth over $4,000. Go down to the waterfront in either the Marina or Columbia neighborhoods between 5:30pm and 9:00pm and join the holiday spirit. Seaport Village and the pathway along Coronado are the best places to view from land and if you are planning on viewing the parade from Harbor Island, be sure to get there early.
