The Mark Downtown San Diego Condos Sold During January to August 201292101 Urban Living is constantly checking the Downtown San Diego Real Estate market to be able to give correct and new information to our Downtown San Diego Condo investors and home buyers. We wanted to be a little bit more specific this time and start showing you data about the specific complexes in the 7 different neighborhoods of Downtown San Diego. The first one is The Mark located in the East Village/Ballpark neighborhood.

The Mark was built by Douglas Wilson and was completed in 2007. The complex takes up the whole block consisting of the corners of Market Street, Island Ave and 8th and 9th Avenues. You will find two story town homes along Island Avenue and half way up on 8th and 9th. The high-rise tower is located along Market Street and half way down 8th and 9th avenues. This is a full luxury building with front desk attendant, full security, underground parking, pool, spa, and conference room and fitness center.

There have been 18 homes sold during January to August of 2012 where 15 were full value sales and 3 were trustee sales. 4 of these were 2 bedrooms homes and 14 of them were 1 bedroom homes. As you can see in the graph above 3 of them were sold in January, 1 in February, 1 in March, 4 in April, 2 in May, none in June, 2 in July and 5 in August. You can see that there were no sales in the month of June. The average price per square foot is $493 for all 18 sales. The average price per square foot for the 1 bedrooms are $460/square foot and for the 2 bedrooms its $609/square foot. ')}
