Proposed Permanent Homeless Shelter at the World Trade Center Building in Downtown San DiegoAfter having the homeless shelter in the East Village/Ballpark District for a couple years in a row now, a new suggestion of converting the World Trade Center Building in the Little Italy District in Downtown San Diego to a homeless shelter is now being discussed at the San Diego City Council. The proposed homeless shelter would only provide temporary and permanent shelter for up to 225 people.
