The annual San Diego Bay Balloon Parade is about to take place down in the Columbia and Marina neighborhoods of Downtown San Diego. On December 27th at 10 am the parade will start right outside the County Administration Building on Pacific Highway. Due to the construction of the North Embarcadero Visionary Plan Phase 1 the route has slightly changed from former years. The new route will include taking a left on Ash and continue down Pacific Highway instead of the normal route down Harbor Drive.
This year’s balloon theme is “World of Wonder” and the main sponsor of the event is the Port of San Diego. Come on down and check out Mr. Potato Head, The Lorax and Olivia the Pig (new for this year), Woody Woodpecker, Bob the builder and many others.
